Hey Friends! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I started this to share a little bit more about myself and my business!
Let’s quickly rewind to the very beginning... I started my shop on Etsy as a custom mug shop. The business’s original name was Penny Prints Creations, hence the website name (still on my to do list to update that). When I posted my first listing I invested a little bit of money into Etsy ads and within about a week I got my first sale from a stranger! After that, the custom mugs took off. I. was. Busy. I couldn't believe it.
Now let’s fast forward, I started an instagram and TikTok for the business and started discovering so many other young women who run a small business, some of them right out of their own bedrooms! [Side bar] One of my favorite things about the small business community is that so many owners post behind the scenes and share how they do certain things for their business. I fell down a rabbit hole and came out knowing this was going to be my thing. After some time, I didn't want to just do the mugs anymore. I got excited about wanting to create content and invest in a whole brand, in new products like glass cups, cute accessories and apparel.
Which leads us to today, I am a fully online shop, and I attend pop up markets. I sell uplifting, cute and trendy products! I am now entering a new era where I’m finding the confidence to share my journey and tips that I have learned along the way. I’m reaching year three with my business venture and I am filled with gratitude for the lessons learned, the challenges overcome, and the small wins that have shaped my path.
